Over the summer period bookings are for full weeks only and ideally will run run from Saturday to Saturday. The rest of the year a minimum of three days is possible and we can be flexible on arrival days so just let us know what you would like and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Pricing

To keep rental fees low despite the size of the house, prices are based on an occupancy of 6 people. Children under 2 years old are not included although we are well equipped with cot, high chair, stair gates, toddler paddling pool, toys etc. For more than 6 guests,  (including children over the age of two) or if you are using all 5 bedrooms, there is an extra charge of £10 per person, per night). Little children actually make more mess and damage than big ones!

Prices include EVERYTHING. There is no extra fee for cleaning, linen, pool towels, wifi, firewood, holiday tax or anything else. So please bare this in mind when making comparisons. Unfortunately, due to excessive use by previous guests, there is now a fee for electricity over the winter months in accordance with meter readings.

Please contact me about bringing a pet. The garden is secure and well behaved dogs are allowed. A fee fo £20 per pet for the week is payable.

Prices are shown in Pound Sterling but Euros are also accepted. Bookings will be secured on receipt of the completed booking form and a 25% deposit. The full rental fee is payable 6 weeks before arrival. Payment is by bank transfer or UK cheque. Euros at the current UK bank rate of exchange are also acceptable and no exchange charges will be incurred by you.

A separate security/breakages deposit 25% is required at the time of booking. Basically the booking deposit becomes your security deposit. This will be fully refunded to you 10 days after your departure assuming a satisfactory check, that no excessive cleaning is required and there are no breakages, loss or damages.

Guest must ensure they have full holiday insurance cover in the event of cancellation or damages.

3 nights is the minimum stay. In June, July, August the minimum stay is a week, and at Christmas or New Year a minimum of 4 nights.

31 October to 22 December 2025 - £320 per night £1999 for the week, minimum 3 nights

23 December 2025 to 4 January 2026 - £530 per night £3300 for the week - minimum 4 nights

5 January 2026 - 2 April 2026 £325 per night minimum 3 nights

3 April to 26 June 2026 - £2360 for the week (£395 extra night)

27 June to 4 September 2026 - £3,500 for the week (£520 extra night) minimum one week

5 September to 30 Oct 2026 £2360 for the week - £395 per night minimum 3 nights

31 October to 22 December 2026 - £320 per night £1999 for the week

23 December to 2 January 2025 - £530 per night £3300 for the week - minimum 4 nights

3 January to 28 March 2027 - £325 per night minimum 3 nights
